Open Memberships
Open To All: First thing to know is that the pool has open memberships. The pool is not limited to Sovereign Village residents. Sovereign Village Pool LLC is associated with the SV HOA and was created to run the Recreation Center and Pool.
The pool opens on Saturday May 23, 2026. The last day for the season is Labor Day September 7, 2026.

To join, fill out the application attached at the bottom of this page. Before the season begins, mail the application and a check to 131 Rossmann Blvd. Winchester, VA 22602. After the pool opens, bring the application and check to the pool attendant. We do not accept epayments or credit cards.
Checks should be made out to Sovereign Village Pool LLC.
For 2026 membership for non-Sovereign Village residents is $392.00 for a season pass ($336.00 if paid by 05/04/26), $182 for monthly passes. Pool membership for Sovereign Village (SV) residents is $210. SV residents must be in good standing with the HOA. Senior Passes for those 55+ will be $176 for SV residents and $358 ($330 if payed by 05/04/26) for Non-SV residents. Limited to 2 personal passes per household.
Memberships cards takes approximately 5 days to be created. 5 single use Guest Passes are included with memberships. Prorating starts July 4th for non-resident season passes at $5/day off the season pass. Example, 30 days past July 4th would be $150 off the season pass.

Pick Up Your Passes!
Pick up your passes at the pool starting on May 23rd. Bring a photo ID and fill out emergency contact information. You will need to have phone numbers for your family and an email address for the family. You will be asked for an emergency contact's name and phone number who are not an immediate family member.
OPEN or CLOSED?
Weather or pool conditions can close the pool. Closings and re-openings will be posted on Facebook. The pool remains clsosed for for 30 minutes from last lightening strike.

Pool attendant - No Lifeguard
We have a pool attendant. We do not have a lifeguard. The attendant is provided by NALA Management LLC and are empowered to enforce the rules to ensure the enjoyment of our members and quality of the water. Please speak to the attendant for issues with the facility or with members.

Q. Will the attendant deal with disruptive members?
A. Yes. We have worked with Super Splashers to ensure the attendants are trained and empowered to handle disruptive behavior in an appropriate manner.
Q. Is there a limit on the amount of swimmers?
A. No.
Q. Will my pool passes be mailed to me?
A. No. Pool passes can be picked up at the pool starting May 23rd. Photo ID will be required and contact information for your family and an emergency contact will need to be filled out. Your emergency contact should not be a member of your immediate family.
Members can rent the pool and recreation area for two hours for $150 which includes a pool attendant. Pool parties can be reserved at the following times and days:
Monday - Thursday: 9 am - 11 am or 7 - 9 pm
Friday - Sunday & Holidays: 9 - 11 am or 8-10 pm
To reserve a pool party:
To pencil in/confirm a date - Send an email to sovereignvillagepool@gmail.com with the date(s) and time(s) you would like to have the party. We will respond with available date(s) and time(s). Respond with the date and time you select.
To reserve the date - Give a check to the pool attendant. Note on the check "Pool Party - (DATE)". Once the check is received we will send you a confirmation email.
Rain Dates - You can cancel or reschedule the party up to the day of the party. If you cancel, we will give you back the check or tear it up.
Early Set Up - Members are welcome to set up decorations and celebrate in the recreation center's picnic area before the pool party hours. For morning pool parties, members are welcome to use the picnic area before or after the pool party hours.
Pool Party Rules
There is not a lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. You are responsible for the safety of your family and guests.
The pool attendant will grant access to the pool and assist members in enforcing the rules. Members and their guests will respect and follow the instructions of the pool attendant.
No glass containers in or around the pool or Recreation Center area.
No smoking or vaping pot tobacco, or other tobacco products on the Recreation Center property.
No alcohol or illegal drugs allowed.
Members must clean up after themselves – all trash must be put in the appropriate garbage receptacles or taken home. Police the area before you leave.
No diving.
No horseplay, no profanity, no excessive loud noise or music.
No running.
No open cuts/sores/infectious diseases in the recreation center.
No regular diapers allowed in the pool. Only swim diapers are allowed.
Thunder/Lightening - Members are to vacate the pool and surrounding area just before and during thunder or lightning strikes. No one is permitted in the pool area during a lightning storm. The pool remains clsosed for for 30 minutes from last lightening strike.
Do not interfere with or play with any of the Recreation Center/Pool equipment.
No pets allowed inside the pool fence nor in the pool.
The Recreation Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items, or items left behind.
The Recreation Center is not responsible for accidents.
All activities must be restricted to the Recreation Center property; do not trespass on the properties of others.
IT IS THE REPSONSIBILITY OF THE MEMBERS TO ABIDE BY THESE RULES. VIOLATIONS ARE GROUNDS FOR MEMBERSHIP TO BE REVOKED WITHOUT REFUND OF MEMBERSHIP PAYMENTS.
